3 Tourists boats ablaze in Samut Prakan

The Samut Prakan V2 News website states that the fire began on one of six tourist boats that were docked close to one another at the pier near Thong Khung Temple and that it swiftly spread to two other boats.

According to a source on the Fire and Rescue Thailand website, there may have been three explosions heard during the incident, which spewed thick black smoke into the sky. The original fire was put out by around 9am thanks to the quick arrival of several fire-fighting boats.

Heavy damage and fire were experienced by three vessels. It is yet unknown what started the fire.

The owners and captains of the boats have being sought after by the police for interrogation.
