Turkish Hitchhiker Grateful for Thai Locals’ Kindness on Chiang Mai Journey

A Turkish hitchhiker expressed heartfelt thanks to Thai locals who came to his aid during his journey to Chiang Mai. After spending six hours trying to catch a ride, Deniz, a YouTuber traveling the world to learn about different cultures, found assistance from kind-hearted locals in Rangsit.

Deniz had been struggling to hitchhike when Ronrong Phetcharoen, a local, noticed him and offered water, as no one had stopped to help. After hearing that Deniz needed to get to Chiang Mai, Ronrong and others coordinated to help by creating a sign, arranging a ride, and even covering his transportation costs. They treated him to local snacks, including khanom jeen and noodles, making the experience a memorable one for the grateful traveller.

Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, Deniz took to social media to express his gratitude. “I will never forget your kindness,” he wrote, thanking everyone who supported him on his journey.
