21 June 2023: Paris, France The Best Regional Airline in Asia and The World’s Best Regional Airline were both given to Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited at the 2023 World Airline Awards. At a ceremony conducted today at the Paris Air Show, Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, the airline’s president, received the prizes along with management.
Customers have chosen Bangkok Airways for the seventh year running as the Best Regional Airline in the World and the Best Regional Airline in Asia. Millions of travelers from over the world cast votes for their favorite airlines in the World Airline Awards, sometimes referred to as the Oscar of the aviation business. According to Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways PLC, “Amidst our most difficult period in aviation history, Bangkok Airways has continued to strive to raise the caliber of our goods and services in order to become one of the world’s top regional airline brands.
The fact that we were once again picked by our customers from throughout the world and designated the Best Regional Airline in the World and Asia in 2023 is evidence that we are succeeding in that goal. Bangkok Airways is also ranked number 29 among the top 100 airlines in the world.
