Bangkok Food Delivery Rider Accuses Customer of Locking Him Up
A Thai food delivery rider has accused a customer in Bangkok of locking him inside her property for nearly 30 minutes—a situation that many other riders claim to have also experienced at the same address.
Locked In and Ignored
The incident occurred on March 24 and was shared via TikTok by user @ice_23648. The rider described how: He arrived at the customer’s home, enclosed by a white fence, and called her to open it.
After entering, he found himself trapped behind another locked brown fence.
He delivered the food as requested but was unable to leave as both fences had been locked again.
Multiple attempts to contact the customer went unanswered.
He was forced to cancel his next order and eventually called the police for assistance.
He managed to escape only when a car entered the property, allowing him to exit.
The rider later visited the police station to file a complaint, but officers said there was nothing they could do about the matter.
Other Riders Report Similar Incidents
Following his viral video, many other food delivery riders shared their own frustrating experiences at the same house, located in Soi Ram Indra 83, Kannayao District.
One rider was trapped from 11 PM to 1 AM and had to call the police for help.
Another was locked in for an hour during heavy rain.
Some riders shouted for assistance but were either ignored or unheard.
Customer’s Motive Remains a Mystery
While the customer’s reason for locking riders inside is unclear, some speculate that she may have a mental condition or find amusement in trapping delivery workers.
Despite multiple complaints, no action has been taken by the delivery platform to blacklist the location.
