Authorities in Thailand have arrested four individuals in a large-scale drug operation in Pak Kret, seizing a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and a firearm. The Metropolitan Police, led by Police Colonel Sithisak Nakamat, carried out the operation on March 1 at 8:15 p.m. under directives from senior officials, including Police Lieutenant General Siam Boonsom.
During the operation, officers confiscated 301,150 methamphetamine pills, nearly one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine (Ice), and 700 grams of ketamine. A .38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver with six bullets, additional ammunition, a grey Isuzu D-Max pickup truck, and five mobile phones were also seized.

The arrested suspects were identified as 47-year-old Surasak, 28-year-old Krisana, 28-year-old Kongkiat, and 32-year-old Chalit. Investigators had been monitoring Surasak, believed to be a key figure in a drug distribution network operating in Nonthaburi and surrounding areas. Authorities discovered that the narcotics were stored at a residence on Arisara 4 Road in Khlong Khoi subdistrict, Pak Kret district.
On the evening of March 1, police surveillance teams observed a pickup truck leaving the property, leading them to intercept and search the vehicle. Surasak was found in possession of a large quantity of drugs and admitted to intending to sell them. He further revealed that additional narcotics were stored in a shed on the property. Upon searching the residence, officers found Krisana, Kongkiat, and Chalit, along with more drugs, all of whom confessed to their involvement in the operation.

Surasak faces multiple charges, including possession of category 1 narcotics with intent to distribute, as well as illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. The other three suspects were charged with conspiracy to distribute category 1 narcotics and category 2 substances, including ketamine, posing a threat to public safety and state security.
All suspects and confiscated items were handed over to the Narcotics Suppression Bureau for further legal proceedings, according to reports from KhaoSod.
