The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched its new communication concept called “Meaningful Relationship” at the World Travel Market 2023. This concept focuses on promoting sustainable tourism goals and showcasing recycled materials and responsible tourism initiatives.
The Thailand Stand at the event highlighted the importance of meaningful relationships between Thailand, the Thai people, and tourists from around the world. It also showcased the kingdom’s commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism. The stand was decorated with reused materials and featured initiatives such as a workshop on turning discarded fishing nets into bags, as well as a keychain DIY workshop made from waste plastic bottle caps.
To promote the “Meaningful Relationship” concept, a London Bus wrapping was used, offering free hop-on-hop-off services to tourists in London. In addition, tourists were given discounts at select Thai restaurants and had the opportunity to receive free Thai elephant pants by sharing pictures of the bus on social media.
Overall, the launch of the “Meaningful Relationship” concept at the World Travel Market emphasized Thailand’s dedication to sustainable tourism and creating meaningful connections with tourists from all over the world.
