According to the Taliban administration, four survivors of a plane crash in northern Afghanistan were in good health. The Taliban also mentioned that the bodies of two passengers killed in the accident were being transported to the Afghan capital from the remote crash site.

Russian aviation authorities reported on Sunday that a plane carrying six people, en route to Moscow, disappeared from radar screens over Afghanistan on Saturday night. Afghan police had received reports of a crash in the mountainous Badakhshan province.

Video footage emerged showing the four men, some of whom had visible bruising on their faces and one with bloodstains on his clothes, disembarking from a helicopter accompanied by Taliban officials. The video includes a statement from a Taliban official affirming that the survivors were in good health.

Reports indicate that the crashed flight had been conducting a private medical evacuation from Pattaya to Moscow. Approximately 25 minutes prior to disappearing from radar screens, the pilot had issued a warning about low fuel and expressed an intention to land at an airport in Tajikistan, as per a Russian news outlet.
