Cathay Pacific has announced just today that it will be buying 30 of the Airbus A330-900 variant.
The delivery is expected to complete in 2031. Cathay Pacific has also been looking at the A330-900 and also the 787 to be replacing the aging A330-300 fleet which they have at the moment. They are one of the largest A330 operators.
Cathay Pacific uses its A330’s mainly for regional flights or flights to Australia and is known to have 5 different configurations. We look forward to seeing the first Cathay Pacific A330-900.
