A large snake met an unfortunate end after venturing into a garden guarded by two fearless Jack Russell Terriers. The incident took place on February 25, when a Facebook user shared a video showing the dogs confronting and ultimately killing the intruder.
According to the post, the snake had likely entered the property in search of frogs kept there. However, the two hunting-bred dogs swiftly attacked, preventing any potential threat. “The snake screeched, and when I rushed outside, it was already too late—the dogs had taken it down,” the owner wrote. Over the past two years, these skilled hunters have dealt with more than 10 snakes, though this particular one was non-venomous.
The video quickly gained traction online, with commenters praising the dogs’ bravery. “Amazing! These little ones are fearless,” one user wrote. Reporters later contacted the owner, who revealed that the two-year-old Jack Russell Terriers are named “1” and “3.” The household has faced similar encounters before, with a total of 13 snakes—both venomous and non-venomous—meeting the same fate.
The house where the incident occurred is located in Wichian Buri district, Phetchabun province.
