A car bomb exploded in Ban Cho Kapho Moo 2 village, Kapho district, Pattani, on Monday morning, injuring a female member of the Volunteer Defence Corps
The blast occurred around 10 a.m. as Suyanee Seeba was driving from her home to work. Her vehicle was engulfed in flames, but she managed to escape before sustaining shrapnel injuries. She was quickly transported to Pattani Hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities dispatched fire trucks to extinguish the fire and called in an explosive ordnance disposal team to examine the site. Officials have launched an investigation to identify potential suspects and assess whether the attack was part of a broader effort to incite unrest.
