Sweeping Success: Bangkok Road Cleaner Gets Devilish Makeover
BANGKOK, Thailand – A Bangkok road sweeper who recently went viral for her striking appearance has undergone a stunning transformation, thanks to a top Thai makeup artist.
Noppajit “Meen” Somboonsate, a 28-year-old single mother of two, caught public attention after Russian photographer Semyon Rezchikov featured her in a portrait photoshoot on Yaowarat Road, which quickly gained traction on TikTok and other social media platforms. Many netizens admired her natural beauty, with some even suggesting she could be a professional model.
Meen’s newfound fame led to an invitation from renowned makeup artist Chatchai “Nong Chat” Peanfapichart, who gave her a dramatic transformation into Panor, the infamous character from the 2005 Thai horror film Art of the Devil 2. The film’s original actress, Napakpapha “Mamee” Nakprasitte, left a lasting impression on Thai audiences with her mysterious and captivating look, which Nong Chat believed suited Meen perfectly.
In the makeover, Meen was styled with bold makeup, a traditional Thai outfit, and an elegant new hairstyle, turning her into a near replica of the iconic horror character. Once again, netizens were blown away, flooding the comments section with praise:
- “She looks absolutely stunning!”
- “She’s a real-life model!”
- “That’s Mamee!”
- “Her natural beauty shines through even more with this look.”
- “True Thai beauty at its finest.”
Following her transformation, Nong Chat hired Meen to promote his Browit brand, sparking hopes that this rising star might soon receive more opportunities in the entertainment industry.
