Nok Air has submitted documentation to the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) to address safety concerns after the authority ordered the suspension of its international flights.
ACM Manat Chavanaprayoon, director-general of CAAT, confirmed that Nok Air’s management provided reports detailing their safety commitments and planned operational improvements to meet regulatory standards.
The International Civil Aviation Organization is currently inspecting airlines, airports, and maintenance facilities in Thailand, with findings anticipated by Monday. If Nok Air passes the inspection, the suspension may be lifted.
