After a Ukrainian woman is allegedly killed and dismembered at a condo in Bangkok, a Polish guy is detained.

After reportedly killing and dismembering a Ukrainian woman at a condo in Bang Kho Laem, a Polish guy was detained in Sa Kaeo, close to the Thai border. The taxi driver allegedly declined the Polish suspect’s request to assist him in dismembering the body of his girlfriend. The tragic occurrence that occurred in a condo in Bang Kho Laem on Monday, May 15, was reported to the Wat Phraya Krai Police, according to TPN media.

The suspect was apprehended at the Ban Khlong Luek border post in the Aranyaprathet District of Sa Kaeo Province at 11:00 PM on Monday, May 15, 2023, while attempting to legally enter the border. He is still being held and questioned as of the time of publication.Investigators questioned a 56-year-old taxi driver known only by his first name, Mr. Surachai, according to Wat Phraya Krai Police Chief Colonel Wathit Rojanapaitoon, who spoke to TPN media. The Polish man was picked up by Surachai near the condominium, and they chatted using Google Translate, according to Surachai.

The guy said to the cabbie that he wanted to visit a casino but didn’t know how to get there. However, because gambling is not permitted in Cambodia, the cab driver consented to take the suspect to the Cambodian border, where it is permitted.

After a brief period of time, the suspect utilized Google Translate once more to request the taxi driver return to his condo so that he could help him dismember and remove the body of his deceased lover. To help with the unpleasant duty, he offered to pay the cab driver 1,500 baht. Driver declined. After dropping off the Polish traveler outside a Sathorn hotel, the taxi driver, Surachai, returned to the condominium to inform the staff members who had already grown suspicious due to the suspect’s actions and the absence of the woman who had been at his side almost constantly for the previous two weeks.

To reach the border with Cambodia, the suspect was able to hail another taxi.

At the time of publication, neither the suspected murderer’s motivation nor a statement from the suspect had been provided to the Thai media.

This is not the first horrible occurrence involving Polish people in Thailand; only a few months ago, in December, two Polish men were charged for viciously abducting and beating a woman in Pattaya. Later, the men succeeded in leaving Thailand.
