The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has pledged to settle its over 30 billion baht debt to BTSC for the Green Line within 30 days. The debt includes outstanding operation and maintenance fees, legal claims, and interest, with negotiations stalled.
The BMA is reviewing its financial reserves to fund the repayment, and a resolution is expected within the promised timeframe. BTSC demands full payment by October 2025, warning of interest accrual on late payments. The BMA aims to resolve the issue promptly to avoid further financial strain.
