There have been no reports of violent incidents along the Thai-Cambodian border from Wednesday night to Thursday morning, according to the Thai government. Additionally, a nationwide drone ban has been implemented for security reasons.

Government spokesman Jirayu Houngsub provided an update via the Government House Facebook page on Thursday morning, a day after both countries accused each other of violating their fragile ceasefire agreement.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) announced that it is broadening its drone flight ban to encompass the entire country. Previously, the restrictions targeted border provinces and select areas deemed at risk due to reports of suspicious drone activity that raised security concerns.

The Royal Thai Air Force confirmed they detected drones near Wing 21 in Ubon Ratchathani; however, these drones did not appear to threaten security.

The ceasefire, which began on Tuesday after five days of clashes that resulted in at least 43 casualties on both sides, marked a tentative step toward peace. The initial phase was rocky, with Thailand accusing Cambodia of continuing attacks to undermine mutual trust, though peace was generally maintained afterward.

On Wednesday, a Cambodian defense official accused Thailand of violating the ceasefire twice, an allegation Thailand has denied.
