As part of the broader brand revamp for the Cathay group, Cathay Pacific Cargo has changed its name to Cathay Cargo.
“Now is an ideal time to connect our cargo business with the master brand as we continue our cargo investments in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area for a bright future,” said Group CEO Ronald Lam.
This branding represents our Cargo business’ dedication to the same “Go Beyond” ambition as the Group while enhancing a quality that the Cathay brand has long been known for: providing cutting-edge services to our clients.
The introduction of the new brand comes after the release of various “refreshed” products, according to Cathay Cargo, including Cathay Priority and Cathay Pharma. A update of Cathay Mail is anticipated for March.
According to a statement, “These services cater to the respective growing client need for effective temperature-sensitive solutions, efficient and dependable delivery solutions, and modern digital technology that better matches the requirements for shipping visibility, reliability, and speed.”
Recent technological investments made by Cathay Cargo include Click & Ship, a 24/7 online booking service with immediate processing and confirmation, and Ultra Track, a track-and-trace service that uses low-energy Bluetooth data-loggers to provide customers with nearly real-time information on the airport-to-airport leg of the shipment journey.
The new Cathay Cargo website allows consumers to easily access functions like booking, track & trace, and flight availability while also reflecting the company’s core values.
As the rebranding process proceeds, more Cathay Cargo innovations will come.
