Having introduced the world’s first Premium Economy Class in 1992, EVA Air remains at the forefront of innovation in the aviation industry. Among its current initiatives, EVA is enhancing its Boeing 787-9 fleet by introducing the latest Premium Economy Class, bridging the Royal Laurel and Economy Classes. The first upgraded B787-9 is set to launch before the end of 2024, with the entire fleet scheduled for the upgrade process. This strategic upgrade aims to optimize flight scheduling and further elevate service quality, ensuring a superior onboard experience for passengers at competitive fares.
To enrich the in-flight experience, EVA Air will introduce Taiwan’s renowned Kanpai Group Japanese-style barbecue meals across all cabin classes starting from July 2024, initially available on select routes departing from Taipei to key destinations in the United States. The airline’s exclusive Giorgio Armani amenity kit for the Royal Laurel Class and the Kipling amenity kit for the Premium Economy Class received accolades such as the “Best Onboard Amenities Kit (Business)” and “Asia Best Premium Economy Class Amenity Kit,” validating EVA’s commitment to enhancing passenger comfort and satisfaction.
