Ezy Airlines of Thailand has recently received its first aircraft ahead of its scheduled launch of commercial operations in the third quarter of this year. The airline, under the ownership of M-Landarch Company Limited, conducted a soft launch on May 24, 2024, in Hua Hin.
The airline has procured a Cessna Grand Caravan 208B EX, registered as HS-EZY (msn 208B5793), capable of accommodating up to 14 individuals, including the pilot and co-pilot. Although Ezy has obtained an air operating license (AOL), the Aircraft Operator Certificate (AOC) of M-Landarch Company Limited was still awaiting approval according to records from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) as of May 7, 2024.
During the soft launch event, General Supakorn Sanguanchartsornkrain, principal advisor to Ezy Airlines, outlined the airline’s strategy of becoming a short-haul carrier connecting various cities and towns in southern Thailand within a 60-minute flight radius of each other. With Hat Yai as its primary hub, the initial routes will link destinations like Yala Betong, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Surat Thani.
“Ezy Airlines aims to cater to the travel requirements of locals, tourists, and business travelers looking to minimize travel time between provinces to under an hour,” remarked General Supakorn Sanguanchartsornkrain. “This untapped market presents opportunities to add value for the company, business community, and local residents, ultimately leading to the development of new business prospects.”
