Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana and His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua traveled to the UK on official business from May 4 to May 7 to attend King Charles III’s coronation.
Being His Majesty’s first official overseas trip since ascending to the throne as King Rama 10 of the Royal Chakri Dynasty, the couple will both be attending their first foreign royal coronation.They were welcomed at London Stansted Airport on Thursday by Their Majesties the King and Queen as well as Mr. Thani Thongphakdee, the Thai ambassador to London, and Mr. Simon Bright, the envoy of King Charles III of the United Kingdom.
The Royal Couple afterwards made their way to the Landmark Hotel in London, where they were staying.The newlyweds will be present at the coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6 as well as a banquet that King Charles III is hosting on May 5 in the afternoon at Buckingham Palace.
