Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has given the Energy Ministry urgent instructions to address widespread public outrage over exorbitant electricity rates.
Before accepting a 7-satang decrease in electricity rates for the months of May to August, the government has stated that it will hold off until a special meeting with the Energy Regulatory Commission.
