A recent statement from Google Thailand addressed the incident involving a female executive from a prominent cloud service company in Bangkok. The woman allegedly resisted arrest by shouting and assaulting a police officer on a motorway in Suan Luang District. It was confirmed that she had voluntarily resigned from her position as an employee in January 2024.
Authorities revealed that the same woman had been apprehended in 2022 at the same location for a similar offense, where she reportedly sprayed officers with alcohol. Despite this, the police only charged her with drunk driving. Following a court ruling, she received a two-year suspended sentence for her actions.
