At around one in the morning, the incident happened outside the Ornic Pub on Royal City Avenue (RCA). In the midst of a Songkran water-splashing party, a man arrived and got into a conflict with another partygoer. In order to allegedly scare the other man’s buddies, witnesses claimed that when a fight broke out, the newcomer pulled out a revolver and fired several shots towards the ground.
Four persons close were struck by the gunshots when they reportedly bounced off the ground. Obnithi Puengkheha, 26, Jiraporn Poolsuk, 26, Natthanon Nonthasud, 25, and Thitipol Suppasert, 28, have been named as the victims who sustained gunshot wounds.
At the hospital in Bangkok, the injured are being cared for.As soon as they arrived on the site, police officers discovered ten spent bullet casings. The suspect has also been detained, but as of the time of publication, they were avoiding naming him.
Water-splashing parties went on even after Songkran celebrations were put to rest on Saturday at numerous entertainment locations.
