The Institute for Technology and Innovation Management, or INT, at Mahidol University, is dedicated to bringing these research to life, aiming for global impact. We are committed to facilitating the utilization of Mahidol University’s knowledge, research and technology for societal and commercial benefits. This is achieved through collaborations with government organizations, private sectors, and domestic industry groups. Our goal is to position the university’s research and technology as an international hub for innovation, guided by three key missions:
1. Managing Academic Services:
We serve as advisors overseeing the entire process from inception to execution. Our focus lies in streamlining operations, acting as a central nexus connecting researchers and experts. We also collaborate closely with various research centers within the university, which are equipped with state-of-the-art tools certified by world-class standards. By fostering cooperation between the university and the industrial sector, we aim to unlock the nation’s potential.
2. Managing Intellectual Property and Technology Promotion:
We facilitate patent, petty patent, copyright, and trademark registrations while advocating for the use of intellectual property. Additionally, we encourage partnerships to promote various technologies, both commercially and for non-profit purposes. Whether it’s licensing permissions, appointing distributors, facilitating material transfer agreements, or making materials publicly accessible, we coordinate and develop joint ventures with interested parties, including government organizations, private companies, and the industrial sector.
3. Supporting Entrepreneurial Growth:
Our institute is dedicated to nurturing students, professors, researchers, and university staff with innovative ideas. Through Incubator and Accelerator programs, as well as MA SHARES, an area where various ideas can flourish without limitation, we provide the necessary tools to transform concepts into prototypes. Financial support is offered for innovation and entrepreneurship, alongside assistance in establishing collaboration networks with government organizations, investors, and private businesses supporting startups, both domestically and internationally.
