Korean Air has announced an order for 33 Airbus A350 models. The orders for the A350 models are 27 of them are the -1000 variant and 6 the 900 variant. They have made the order for the A350 models prior to the merger from Asiana Airlines.
Korean air had planned to take over Asiana for sometime already but still awaiting approvals. Currently Asiana Airlines has 15 of the -900 variant with 6 on order with 10 of the -1000 variant on order. Still awaiting when Korean Air will take on the A350’s.
