Microsoft Thailand and the Thai government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish an AI Center of Excellence and a cloud data center in Thailand. This initiative aims to position Thailand as a leading hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Asia and drive the country’s digital transformation.
Microsoft will support the government’s National AI Strategy roadmap by providing skills training, collaborating on e-government projects, and exploring tax incentives and changes in state procurement rules. The partnership will also focus on developing local cloud capabilities and utilizing renewable energy for data centers.
