The beauty queens visited the region in the south to support tourism and culture while also taking in Nora dance performances at Temple Phra Borommathat Chedi Khian Bang Kaeo.
The participants are in Phatthalung till Tuesday to sample the native cuisine and way of life.
On March 17, the preliminary round of the pageant will take place, and it will include talent events as well as swimsuit and evening gown competitions. On March 19, the final round will take place, during which the winner will be announced and awarded a monetary reward of 1 million baht. Bangkok will be the location of both rounds.
