MJets (Thailand) (MIN, Bangkok Don Mueang) has expanded its fleet with the addition of two new aircraft from Bombardier Aerospace – a Global 5000 and a Global Express XRS, as reported by ch-aviation research.
The Global 5000, with the registration T7-258 (msn 9154), was transferred to the Thai business jet operator on May 29, 2024, while the Global Express XRS, registered as T7-852 (msn 9203), joined the fleet on June 5. This marks the first time MJets has incorporated these aircraft types into its operations.
Before joining MJets, T7-258 was in operation in the United States as N3333U for the Joint Development Bank, while T7-852 was previously registered in the US as N401VP, under an unidentified operator. Records from the US Federal Aviation Administration indicate that Kenmore Crew Leasing Inc. was the nominal owner of N401VP.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, MJets currently operates two Cessna Citation Bravos, a Citation X, two Gulfstream G550s, and a Gulfstream GV, alongside the newly acquired Bombardier aircraft.
In conjunction with the introduction of the two Bombardier jets, MJets has also made a recent investment by acquiring a minority share in the Singapore-based private jet and general aviation company, Wings Over Asia. The company invested SGD17 million (USD12.6 million) into Wings Over Asia, citing the high demand for private jet travel in Southeast Asia as a key driver for the investment.
