According to the Election Commission’s most recent report, which was released at 8.30 p.m. on April 10th, over 2.3 million individuals have registered to vote in advance of the general election on May 7th, which is taking place one week from that day.
A total of 2,216,950 people have registered to vote in advance, including 2,156,578 who will cast their ballots outside of their districts and 18,880 who will do so within them. 115,139 people will cast ballots overseas.
Advance voting registration was done both online and at district registration offices. 60,372 people registered at district registration offices, while 2,156,578 people registered online.
