Following the success of last year’s Tee Thai Tee Mun campaign, which showcased eight locally produced hits, Netflix Thailand has announced an ambitious slate of six films and three series set to premiere in 2025.
Leading the lineup is Dalah: Death And The Flowers, a highly anticipated mystery series starring Thai superstar Urassaya Sperbund. With a predominantly female production team, the series blends striking visuals with symbolic storytelling to tackle deep social issues.
Another standout is Mad Unicorn, a gripping drama about a determined northern Thai entrepreneur who rises from nothing to lead the country’s first unicorn startup in the express delivery sector. Directed by Nottapon Boonprakob, the series features the expertise of Jira Maligool and Vanridee Pongsittisak, the producers behind the smash-hit film How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. Produced in collaboration with GDH 559, this rags-to-riches story promises to be an inspiring watch.
On the film front, Frozen Hot Boys delivers a stranger-than-fiction tale about troubled Thai youths overcoming hardships to compete in an international snow-sculpting contest—despite hailing from a tropical country.
Meanwhile, acclaimed director Nithiwat Tharatorn ventures into crime thrillers with Everybody Loves Me When I’m Dead, a bold story of bank employees scheming to steal from a dormant account belonging to a deceased woman. Featuring celebrated actors Theeradej “Ken” Wongpuapan and Chulachak “Hugo” Chakrabongse, the film promises suspense and intrigue.
For action lovers, Ziam offers a fresh take on survival thrillers by pitting Thai martial arts against zombies. Starring Prin Suparat, who underwent extensive combat training, this high-stakes thriller is produced by Kantana, the team behind Master Of The House.
Returning for its final season, The Believers continues its deep dive into faith and societal influence, this time exploring its intersection with local politics. Fan-favorite characters Win, Game, and Dear return, along with a surprise new cast member.
Netflix Thailand also marks a milestone with Sum Wan Gub Someone, a lighthearted romantic comedy born from a screenwriter’s pitch. The film pairs beloved actors Jarinporn Joonkiat and Warintorn Panhakarn on screen for the first time.
Over the years, Netflix has played a pivotal role in nurturing Thailand’s creative industry, collaborating with local talents and providing skills workshops. With its 2025 lineup, the streaming giant continues to champion Thai storytelling for audiences worldwide.
