The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched a new edition of Monopoly featuring Chiang Mai in order to promote tourism. This special edition, called “Monopoly: Chiang Mai Edition,” follows the success of the previously released “Monopoly: Phuket Edition” and has been created in partnership with Winning Moves UK. The game highlights over 30 locations and activities in Chiang Mai, showcasing the city’s rich culture and landmarks.
The official launch of the game took place at The Chiang Mai Old Town Hotel, providing a fun and engaging way for individuals to explore the city. The Monopoly: Chiang Mai Edition serves as an enticing reason to visit Thailand and also acts as a unique souvenir for tourists. Through this collaboration, the Tourism Authority of Thailand aims to encourage travelers to have more meaningful experiences and extend their stay by engaging with the local community.
The Monopoly: Chiang Mai Edition, along with the Chiang Mai Top Trumps card game, can be purchased at various retail stores in Chiang Mai, including Asia Books, Golden Goblin Games, and The Chiang Mai Old Town Hotel, as well as through online channels. Additionally, the previously launched Monopoly: Phuket Edition is available for purchase in Phuket.
