BANGKOK, Thailand – Pattaya has once again emerged as the top domestic destination for Thai travelers during the Songkran festival, according to accommodation search data from digital travel platform Agoda. The seaside city has reclaimed its position, with its lively celebrations extending beyond the official Thai New Year period of April 13–15, notably featuring the Wan Lai celebrations around April 18–19.
For international visitors, Pattaya ranks second, just behind Bangkok, as a preferred destination to experience Thailand’s iconic water festival.
