THAILAND’S Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin has given Russia President, Vladimir Putin an invitation for an official visit to Thailand in 2024.
Due to Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine, it has left Putin with little international support.
Thailand relies heavily on tourism and this invitation may come as no surprise with the recent announcement of increasing the Russian tourist visa from 30 to 90 days.
Over 1 million Russian tourists have visited Thailand already in 2023.
