As a part of the city’s “12 Months 12 Festivals” promotion, Bangkok Food Fest will be held on May 27 and 28 at Odeon Circle in Yaowarat, Bangkok’s Chinatown, according to Sanon.Bangkok has been hosting a festival every month to promote tourism and the distinctive qualities of each neighborhood since the Covid-19 curfew was lifted, he said.

The first Bangkok Food Fest will be introduced in May and feature specialties from 75 restaurants and street sellers in 10 neighborhoods. Restaurants and street food sellers at the market are from Bangkok neighborhoods such Sam Phraeng, Banglamphu, Khlong San, Talad Plu, Banthat Thong, Bang Rak, Aree-Saphan Kwai, Choke Chai 4-Lat Phrao (Wang Hin), Yaowarat, and Wang Lang, which are noted for their distinctive cuisines.In addition, there will be street performances, food demos, a short concert, eating competitions, a special seminar, and competitions to win gift cards and restaurant discounts during the festival.

For a chance to win a dinner cruise down the Chao Phraya River, participants are also encouraged to vote for the finest booth at the fair. On the Facebook pages of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Bangkok Tourism Division, voters may cast their ballots.Six eateries from the Yaowarat and Banthat Thong neighborhoods had sampling booths at the press event on Thursday. Reporters, influencers, and content producers attended the culinary festival preview.
