SQ 321 from London to Singapore diverts to Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi after severe turbulence and 1 dead

Singapore Airlines announced on Tuesday that one person passed away following a London to Singapore flight that encountered severe turbulence. The flight was diverted to Bangkok and landed around 3.45pm. The airline confirmed a fatality and injuries on board their Boeing 777-300ER, with a total of 211 passengers and 18 crew members.

British media reports indicated at least 30 injuries among passengers. Singapore Airlines stated they are cooperating with Thai authorities to offer medical support and are sending a team to provide further assistance. The nationality of the deceased individual remains undisclosed.
