Thai Airways International (PLC) has got the all clear to be seeking foreign investment to fund the buying of new Aircraft. For the new Aircraft order they are expecting 90 in total which includes both Boeing and Airbus. It’s in very early stages at the moment but already have orders for 12 Airbus A321NEOS to be joining the fleet in 2025.
With the merger of Thai Smile as well taking place this year they will be taking their A320’s. Recently the past couple weeks Thai Airways just had 2 new Airbus A350-900 joining the fleet registered HS-THQ and HS-THR which arrived today from Malta. The recent A350 arrival are leased from Avalon group and those A350’s have previously been with LATAM, Hainan Airlines and South African Airways prior to joining Thai.
