Thai Airways PLC has said its final farewell to its Boeing 747-400 aircraft. The Boeing 747 has operated with Thai Airways since 1979. The Boeing 747-400 at Thai Airways has operated a total of 18 Aircraft.
Thai Airways has had its farewell ceremony in its hangar at Suvarnabhumi Airport with the engineless plane on display. The Aircraft is registered HS-TGG.
Now Thai Airways is more focused going on dual engine with the order they have made with 45 787-9’s and they are also planning to put the 777-9 as well. The first of the new 787’s should arrive this year after previously operating with Bamboo Airways of Vietnam.
