Thai Airways plans to completely phase out First Class and upgrade its Business Class cabins across all routes. CEO Chai Eiamsiri announced that over the next two to three years, the airline will restructure its cabins into three sections: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Currently, First Class is available on only a few routes, such as Bangkok–London and Bangkok–Narita, and will be discontinued entirely.

To boost passenger comfort, the airline will add premium front-row seats above the Business Class section. Fourteen Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will be fitted with new Business Class seats featuring private doors, alongside improvements to Premium Economy and Economy classes. Starting in 2028, twenty Airbus A350s will receive the latest cabin innovations, and 45 Boeing 787 Dreamliners will adopt the new layout, with the first nine arriving in 2028.

These initiatives aim to create a consistent onboard experience across all Thai Airways aircraft, elevating passenger comfort and service quality.
