Thai Election Commission provides incentives for reports of election fraud.

The office of the electoral Commission has established four avenues for the public to report any irregularities or electoral fraud, such as cash handouts or the free distribution of goods.

According to the office, anyone who provides information that aids its investigations into alleged irregularities by political parties or candidates will be eligible for financial prizes of up to a million baht.

The public can contact election officials by phone at 0-21418860, 0-21418579, or 0-21418858, through the provincial election offices or Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, or by using the 1444 hotline. The “Ta Sapparot” app can be downloaded from the EC’s website, the App Store, or Google Play.

The EC’s office has guaranteed that the informants’ identities will be kept secret.

In the meantime, today (Friday), the office began shipping voting papers via Thailand Post’s parcel service to Thai embassies and consular offices in 66 nations and 94 cities.

There are two different ballot kinds. Party-list elections are conducted using purple ballots, whereas constituency elections are conducted using green ballots.

115,139 Thai citizens who live overseas have already registered to vote.
