Thai Election hopeful vows to swim Songklah lake

The action is a part of the party’s campaign in Songkhla province from Friday to Sunday, spanning Muang, Hat Yai, and Singhanakhon districts, according to Korn’s Facebook post on Thursday.

Four candidates from Korn—Gun Nawakan, Prasit Rattanaphan, Pongsatorn Suwanraksa, and Juree Numkaew—will take part in the three-day campaign.

Beginning on Friday, Chart Pattana Kla will interact with residents in Songkhla Old Town, take part in a celebration honoring the 181st anniversary of the founding of the province at Songkhla National Museum, and hold economic discussions at Miami Songkhla Public Park.

The group will visit Unicki Farm, a landfill in Khuan Luang Subdistrict, Klongrien Market, and Khlong Hae floating market in Hat Yai district on Saturday to meet people.

Korn wants to party and meet people by swimming across Songkhla Lake.

Korn will take part in the two-kilometer swim across Songkhla Lake on Sunday, beginning at Hub Ho Hin or Rong Si Daeng in the Muang district and ending at Songkhla Pier in the Singhanakhon district.

He added that it would be his second time swimming in the Songkhla lake and that the event’s goal was to promote tourism in the Hua Khao village and Songkhla Old Town.

He also mentioned that a fundraiser for medical equipment for the Hua Khao Tambon Health Promotion Hospital would take place on Sunday.

According to Korn, Chart Pattana Kla, particularly Hat Yai, is committed to winning the election in Songkhla. He added that he was confident the party will triumph in four of the province’s electoral districts.

Candidates for Chart Pattana Kla might perhaps work for Songkhla residents, he continued.
