A 19-year-old Thai woman is fighting for her life after a heated dispute with her foreign boyfriend resulted in her falling from the 14th floor of a condominium in Pattaya’s Nong Prue subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri province.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on March 10, prompting an urgent response from the Sawangboriboon Rescue Centre. Emergency teams, including Pattaya City Police and other relevant agencies, arrived swiftly at the scene.
The young woman, identified as Jane, was discovered lying in the garden at the condo’s entrance with severe injuries, including multiple fractures and bleeding from the mouth. Rescuers administered first aid before transporting her to Pattaya City Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
According to condo security personnel, Jane and her foreign boyfriend had gone out together earlier in the evening and returned later without incident. However, loud sounds of a heated argument soon emerged from their apartment.
A security guard, patrolling the building, witnessed Jane standing dangerously on the 14th-floor balcony. Moments later, he watched in horror as she fell, striking a tree before landing on the grass below.
Police were immediately notified and attempted to question her boyfriend, but he was reportedly heavily intoxicated and unable to recall the night’s events, according to Amarin TV.
Authorities have taken him in for further questioning and are actively gathering evidence to determine the circumstances that led to Jane’s fall.
