Thailand Year 2023: Incredible New Chapters is a booth at the “Internationale Tourismus Borse” (ITB Berlin) in Germany that is intended to attract high-spending travelers.
According to Yuthasak Supasorn, governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the booth highlights ecotourism, sustainable tourism, and health and wellness travel destinations.
The five-F soft powers of Thailand—food, film, fashion, festival, and fight—are also promoted at the exhibit, he continued.
70 Thai travel companies, including Thai Airlines International and Bangkok Airways, according to Yuthasak, have registered for the event to network and conduct business with representatives from 180 other nations.
Activities to promote responsible tourism, as well as videos and an e-brochure to highlight certain destinations, all add to the excitement at the booth.
The TAT CEO claimed that 4.2 million foreign visitors to Thailand between January 1 and February 28 helped the country’s tourism industry recover and brought in 142 billion baht. He noted that 1.3 million of those visitors, or nearly one-third, were wealthy travelers from Europe.
Participating in ITB Berlin, he claimed, will assist Thailand in achieving its target of drawing 30 million foreign visitors this year, bringing in 1.5 trillion baht in income.
The 56th ITB Berlin is taking place at the Messe Berlin Exhibition Ground on Wednesday and Thursday.
