Thaifex-Anuga Generates 135 Billion Baht in Revenue

Thaifex-Anuga Asia 2025, Asia’s premier food and beverage trade exhibition, attracted more than 142,000 visitors and generated over 135 billion baht in trade value, according to the Commerce Ministry.

Commerce Minister Pichai Naripthaphan highlighted the strong interest from international buyers, which created new business opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups. The event also supported local economies by stimulating income and employment across communities nationwide.

The trade fair aligns with the government’s soft power initiative to promote Thai cuisine as a global cultural and economic asset.

This year’s edition featured 3,231 exhibitors from 57 countries across 6,208 booths, including 1,184 Thai and 2,047 international exhibitors. Held from May 27 to 31 at Impact Muang Thong Thani, the event welcomed 142,370 visitors, including 88,349 trade attendees—20,566 of whom were from overseas—and 54,021 members of the public on the final day.

The total trade value reached 136 billion baht, including 272 million baht in immediate orders and an estimated 135 billion baht in projected deals within the next year. Public day retail sales totaled 228 million baht, while Thai exhibitors alone accounted for 99.1 billion baht in trade value.

The event was co-organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse. Thaifex-Anuga Asia 2026 is scheduled for May 26–30 at the same venue.
