Ko (island) Kradan in the Andaman Sea, off the southern province of Trang in Thailand, has been chosen as the greatest of the Top 100 beaches on Earth for 2023 by the World Beach Guide website of the United Kingdom, according to Anucha Burapachaisri, a representative for Government House.
Four more Thai beaches, including Railay in Krabi province (9th), Freedom Beach in Phuket (18th), Laem Beach on Yao Yai Island in Phang-nga province (21st), and Tanot Bay Beach on Ko Tao in Surat Thani, were mentioned by him as being in the Top 100 list for 2023. (44th).
Anucha commended the Thai people in general for their efforts to preserve the ecosystems of these natural riches as well as the private and public sectors of the government that are active in the tourism industry.
One of the islands off the southern province of Trang, Ko Kradan is a significant component of the Hat Chao Mai National Park. Ko Kradan is among the most stunning of these islands and islets and is still largely undeveloped. Despite being only a few kilometers from the mainland, its gorgeous stretches of powdered white sand beaches continue to be a relative sanctuary. Paradise Beach is the primary beach on Ko Kradan.
