Vietnam’s economy is on a fast track for growth, with the possibility of surpassing the government’s 6.5% target this year, as stated by Planning and Investment Minister Nguyen Chi Dung during the prime minister’s cabinet meeting. Minister Dung highlighted that economic growth could potentially hit 7% in 2024, driven by improvements in the industrial and construction sectors.
He expressed optimism that if current growth trends persist and strengthen, Vietnam could meet or even exceed the growth target set by the National Assembly.
