Model Abby Choi’s dismembered body was discovered, and four were detained.

Once the dismembered body of a model and influencer was discovered at a home in a Hong Kong village, four people were detained.

Police have now revealed graphic information regarding Abby Choi’s death after she was first reported missing on Wednesday.

Her 28-year-old ex-husband was detained on suspicion of the murder on Saturday as he attempted to depart the city by boat, according to authorities.

A day prior, the man’s parents and older brother were both taken into custody.

There are facts in this narrative that some readers could find upsetting.

Almost 27 kilometers (17 miles) from where she was last seen in Kowloon City on Tuesday, Ms. Choi’s bones were discovered in a refrigerator in a home in the village of Lung Mei.

Police superintendent Alan Chung was quoted by news agency AFP as saying, “We suspect the victim and her ex-family husband’s had many money problems involving big sums.”

“Someone killed the victim because they didn’t like the way she handled her assets,” the victim’s killer said.

Authorities reported that they had discovered two pots of stew inside the home that they thought to contain human flesh, and that they were still looking for some of her body parts.

A meat slicer, an electric saw, and some clothing believed to be connected to the crime were taken at the scene, according to authorities.

Choi, who recently graced the cover of fashion and luxury lifestyle publication L’Officiel Monaco, was reportedly a well-known socialite in Hong Kong.
