Starlux Airlines begins selling tickets for its nonstop Airbus A350 flights to Los Angeles.

the long-awaited introduction of Starlux’s first-class A350 suites.

Tickets for the forthcoming Taipei-Los Angeles flight have gone on sale through the Taiwanese airline Starlux Airlines. The new service will begin in late April and be run by the airline’s brand-new Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which has four cabin classes.

Sale of Starlux flights to LA

The airline’s long-haul service between Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which will begin operations on April 26th, is currently accepting reservations from interested travelers. Starlux’s new A350 fleet will be used on the flights, which will begin flying five days a week and increase to daily frequency in June. Airline said:

“As of April 26, STARLUX Airlines will offer service to Los Angeles. Our brand-new Airbus A350-900 widebody aircraft, which offers first class, business class, premium economy class, and economy class, will fly the Los Angeles route.”

The carrier had originally planned to begin flights in June 2022 but later revised that to Q1 2023, which was then delayed to late April. As a result, Starlux’s debut into the US market will now be accomplished.

First-class lodging to launch

After receiving its first next-generation Airbus A350-900 widebody in October, Starlux Airlines recently received its second aircraft of the type. In a four-class layout, the widebody aircraft can accommodate 306 passengers: four in first class, 26 in business class, 36 in premium economy, and 240 in economy.

Although the Taiwanese airline has already started using its new aircraft, passengers won’t be able to experience its luxurious first class cabin until they travel to Los Angeles. The cost (for all return tickets) for the planned TPE-LAX service is made public by the aviation website FlightHacks.com:

First-class tickets cost TWD 443,019 ($14,680).

Business class costs TWD 152,019 ($5,037).

TWD 67,435 ($2,234) for premium economy

Budget: TWD 35,716 ($1,183)

Despite costing roughly three times as much as a business class seat, all four first class suites were booked for the maiden voyage on April 26. The carrier has two brand-new A350s in its fleet at the moment, and 16 more are on order. prior to June’s daily operation, five weekly flights

From the time the route is operational in late April through the end of May, Starlux will conduct five roundtrips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The schedule for when Starlux will increase this to a daily frequency starting in June is as follows:

JX002 leaves Taipei for Los Angeles at 23:40 and arrives at 20:30.

JX001, which runs from Los Angeles to Taipei, leaves at 00:50 and arrives at 05:40+1.

Two daily flights to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK), as well as daily frequency to Macau (MCM) and Tokyo Narita (NRT), were among the first Airbus A350 routes announced by Starlux last month. The airline is also keeping an eye on long-haul European connections.
