PATTAYA, Thailand — A dramatic incident occurred early this morning when a Mercedes-Benz S560e crashed into a streetlight in Na Jomtien, Pattaya. The driver, reportedly running a red light, caused significant damage to the luxury vehicle, as well as to the streetlight, before fleeing the scene with his passengers.
The Na Jomtien Police were notified of the accident at 6:23 AM and responded promptly to the location near the Sukhumvit intersection on the Pattaya-Map Ta Phut Highway. Skid marks were also visible, indicating the car had swerved before hitting the streetlight.
Witnesses and Investigation
According to a roadside vendor who witnessed the crash, they heard a loud noise before seeing the Mercedes-Benz collide with the streetlight.
