BANGKOK, Thailand – April 15, 2025 — Thai badminton sensation Kunlavut “View” Vitidsarn has made history, rising to World No. 2 in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings following his groundbreaking victory at the Badminton Asia Championships 2025.
The 23-year-old from Thailand clinched the men’s singles title on April 13 in Ningbo, China, earning 12,000 ranking points and bringing his total to 89,138 points. This catapulted him past Danish stars Viktor Axelsen and Anders Antonsen, placing him just behind World No. 1 Shi Yuqi of China, who has 99,435 points.
