Starting October 1, 2025, passengers departing from six regional airports will face increased passenger service charges (PSC). The Department of Airports (DOA) announced that the PSC at these airports will rise by 25 baht per passenger, affecting both domestic and international flights.
Specifically, the charge for international travelers will increase from 400 to 425 baht, while the fee for domestic travelers will go up from 50 to 75 baht. This adjustment applies to six regional airports managed by the DOA:
- Krabi (KBV)
- Surat Thani (URT)
- Ubon Ratchathani (UBP)
- Khon Kaen (KKC)
- Nakhon Si Thammarat (NST)
- Phitsanulok (PHS)
The new PSC rates have been collected by airlines since July 1, 2025, when tickets are issued, and will be applicable to passengers departing from these airports from October 1 onward. The DOA confirmed that all other airports under its jurisdiction will continue to charge the current PSC rates.
