Bangkok will host YOTEL’s first hotel in Thailand.

A significant agreement to sign its first hotel in Thailand has been made public by YOTEL. Twenty-five years from now, in Bangkok, the brand is anticipated to debut.

In the developing cybertech zone of the city, South Sukhumvit, is where YOTEL Bangkok will be situated. The hotel will be located within Cloud 11, which is expected to grow to be Asia’s greatest hub for content creators.

Global hospitality company The creator hub’s YOTEL Bangkok, which will be newly constructed and open in 2025 with a project value of over 1.2 billion USD, contains designs that have been made public by YOTEL. A nexus for makers, artists, and IT entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia will emerge from this cutting-edge, 250,000 sq m mixed-use complex.

The property will have Thailand’s biggest rooftop park because sustainability is a primary priority for this construction. The so-called “green lung” of Bangkok, Bang Krachao, is another gem of this location, as is a sky bar with a view of it.

“At YOTEL, we constantly work to immerse ourselves in the world’s smartest destinations,” stated Hubert Viriot, CEO of YOTEL. “Cloud 11 will serve as a center for technological innovation and online education, making it the ideal location for our first hotel in Thailand and for our Generation Go visitors.”

Our beliefs are exactly matched with MQDC’s vision and objective for Cloud 11, so we’re happy to be the development’s chosen brand. Additionally, as the region develops into an integrated community for governmental, private, academic, start-up, and the top technological organizations in the globe, we anticipate experiencing significant demand for hotel rooms.

Tech-forward thinking

Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), the top real estate developer in Thailand, will commission Snhetta Design to create YOTEL Bangkok in partnership with A49 Architects. Guests will be completely surrounded by innovation and technology throughout their entire stay.

The 250-key hotel will include all of the newest amenities offered by the brand, such as motorized SmartBedsTM and fully integrated technologies. Two meeting hubs, a 24-hour fitness center, a grab-and-go snack station, and multipurpose eating and co-working areas are among the amenities offered by the hotel.

“We believe that the power of creativity arises from an enabling environment,” said Onza Janyaprasert, Project Director of Cloud 11. Cloud 11 is dedicated to empowering artists as a result, and as such, is building a vast ecosystem that links regional creators with international stakeholders. Another key development that will strengthen our ecosystem is the introduction of YOTEL Bangkok at Cloud 11.

“YOTEL Bangkok will be a lodging option that genuinely caters to the varied lifestyle of artists thanks to its contemporary and environmentally friendly smart design and innovative use of technology. It will not only offer visitors cutting-edge and practical facilities that allow them to be free and flexible, but it will also encourage interpersonal connectivity and encourage effective work. Unbridled creativity will be stoked by the distinctive experience provided by YOTEL Bangkok.

In 2023, YOTEL will have signed three contracts. 50 hotels are the brand’s target number by 2025.
